After limited training in his futurity year "Pep" placed 6th in the NRHA Open Futurity in 2001.
As a Derby horse in 2003 he achieved -

  • NSW Intermediate Open Champion
  • Qld Reserve Intermediate Open Champion
  • SQRHA Intermediate Open Champion
  • NRHA Runner Up Intermediate Horse of Australia

    A superb temperament and lots of chrome with a huge hip. Producing Foals that will Halter and ride.

In 2003 while in Sydney preparing for the National NRHA Derby Pep shattered bones in his offside front fetlock. He was rushed to Sydney University Equine hospital where he was treated. His recovery, though slow and tedious, has defied all odds, amazing the Vets and Staff at the Uni.
